PROCEDURE

Obtain a Service Trolley

Before going to housekeeping to get the linen a room service trolley should be obtained first especially if getting a large quantity of linen.

Retrieve linen

Retrieve the needed linen from housekeeping. All linen has its own section so check what is written on the paper bag before taking linen.

To reduce the chance of an injury occurring, make sure that only one bag is picked up at a time and that the room service trolley is nearby so you don’t have to carry the bag so far.

When stacking the room service trolley makes sure you don’t stack it too high so that you can see what is on the other side.

Using linen

While using the linen check to make sure it is clean and without holes as this will spoil the presentation of the tables.
