It is the policy of the hotel that all F&B team follow the same standard.
PROCEDURE
Toothpicks that are served in a clean and presentable condition toothpick container.
Present toothpicks
Preparations before presenting
Pick up toothpick container from the side station.
Make sure that the container is clean.
The container should have a standard of 10 pieces of toothpicks in it.
The writing on the toothpick cover must be aligned.
Present toothpicks to the guest
Using an under liner, bring the toothpick container to the guest table.
Place the container in the center of the table.
Inform guest by saying, “Excuse me, Madam/Sir. Here are your toothpicks”.
With a smile ask guest if they need other assistance “May I get you anything else?”
