CONFIDENTIALITY OF GUEST INFORMATION
OBJECTIVE:
Ensure we maintain a secure and safe environment for our guests and comply with hotel
PROCEDURE:
Within the hotel we manage a lot of our guests’ information, such as names, contact, credit card information, etc.
It is important for all staff members to understand that this information is to be handled in a confidential manner.
None of this information is to be given out to a third party.
It is of vital importance that all Front Office do not leave any documents with guest information lying around for other guests and clients to see.
No room numbers are to be given out.
All documents with guest information, including credit card information, which are not needed anymore, must be shredded ( cut in small pieces)
