


VISITOR REGISTRATION
OBJECTIVE:
Visitors are not allowed to go to guest’s room after 21:00, especially Vietnamese Nationals, as per Vietnamese Laws
POLICY:
According to Vietnamese Law, all visitors of hotel guests are required to leave their ID cards at Reception Counter and only registered guests are allowed in the guest rooms after 21:00.
PROCEDURE:
All visitors of hotel guests, particularly local Vietnamese nationals, should leave their ID cards at the Reception Counter if they are visiting between 07:00 – 21:00.
The ID Cards will be photocopied by Receptionist for recording purposes and will only be returned upon the visitors’ departure from the hotel.
Visitors are politely reminded that they cannot stay in the guest’s room after 21:00, as per Vietnamese rules & regulations.
Visitors who are still inside the guest’s room after 21:00 will be reminded about the regulations.
To comply with the Vietnamese regulations, Security might politely get involved denying entrance of visitors after 21:00.
The registered guest and the visitor have option to register the visitor in a separate room as they are not allowed to share the same room according to the laws. This should not be offered by any associate in order to avoid misunderstandings. This option should be initiated by the guest.
If the guest decides to register another room, normal check in procedures will be applied.
If the guest is not in the room by the time of visiting, access should not be given and a message taking should be offered.
If the visitor refuses to register, politely inform the visitor that this regulation is set forth by the Vietnamese Government, and the hotel has to enforce it. Under any circumstances, the law must not be broken. All Front Office must follow this regulation strictly, if not, written warning or termination must be applied by FOM
